The Executive Leadership Programme 2027
The Executive Leadership Programme 2027
Preparing exceptional leaders for executive responsibility
The transition from senior leadership to executive leadership is not simply a matter of taking on a bigger role. It requires a different level of self-awareness, influence, judgement and responsibility.
The Executive Leadership Programme 2027 has been designed for experienced leaders who aspire to progress into executive-level roles and want to prepare themselves for the demands that come with that transition.
Over three intensive days in Auckland, participants will explore the three areas that become increasingly important as leadership responsibility grows: how you lead yourself, how you create the conditions for high performance in others, and how you influence across an organisation when positional authority alone is not enough.
The programme is limited to a small cohort to ensure every participant has the opportunity to contribute, reflect and receive individual attention.
And importantly, the development does not end after the three days.
Every participant will also receive six months of one-to-one executive coaching following the programme, providing ongoing support as they apply what they have learned to the real leadership challenges they face.
Who is this programme for?
The Executive Leadership Programme 2027 is designed for leaders who are already operating at a senior level and are preparing for the next stage of their career.
It is particularly suited to senior managers, heads of department, general managers, high-potential leaders and people who have been identified as future executive talent within their organisation.
This is not an introductory leadership programme. Participants should already have meaningful leadership experience and be ready to examine how they think, communicate, influence and make decisions at a higher level.
The three-day programme
Day One: Leading Yourself
Executive leadership begins with the ability to lead yourself effectively.
The first day focuses on self-awareness, mindset and the personal foundations of leadership. Participants will explore the beliefs, habits and patterns that influence how they respond under pressure, make decisions and build credibility with others.
The day will examine areas such as emotional intelligence, confidence, self-doubt, resilience, leadership identity and the importance of developing a clear personal leadership philosophy.
The objective is to help participants better understand who they are as leaders and how their own thinking influences the people around them.
Day Two: Leading a High-Performing Team
High performance is not created by demanding more from people. It is created by establishing an environment in which people are clear, accountable, motivated and able to perform at their best.
Day Two focuses on the role leaders play in creating those conditions.
Participants will explore how trust, psychological safety, accountability, expectations, motivation and effective conversations shape team performance.
The day will also examine how senior leaders can develop others, handle difficult conversations, improve performance and avoid becoming the person who has to solve every problem themselves.
The focus is not simply on managing a team, but on building a team that can perform without excessive dependence on the leader.
Day Three: Leading Without Authority
As leadership responsibility increases, influence becomes increasingly important.
Executives are often required to achieve outcomes through people they do not directly manage. They must work across departments, build support for ideas, influence peers, manage stakeholders and navigate competing priorities.
Day Three focuses on how leaders build influence when positional authority is limited or irrelevant.
Participants will explore credibility, persuasion, organisational relationships, stakeholder management, communication and the psychology of influence.
The objective is to help leaders move from relying on authority to becoming someone others choose to listen to, trust and follow.
Six months of executive coaching
The programme does not finish when the three-day workshop ends.
Every participant receives six months of one-to-one executive coaching following the Auckland programme.
These sessions provide an opportunity to work through real leadership challenges, reinforce the learning from the programme and focus on individual development goals.
The coaching ensures that the programme is not simply an intensive three-day experience, but the beginning of a longer period of leadership development.
Why this programme is different
There are many leadership courses that provide frameworks, models and techniques. This programme takes a different approach.
The focus is on helping experienced leaders think more deeply about how they lead and how they need to evolve as their level of responsibility increases.
The small cohort creates room for meaningful discussion, challenge and reflection, while the six months of executive coaching allows each participant to continue developing long after the three days in Auckland have finished.
The aim is not to create leaders who simply know more.
The aim is to help them lead differently.
